About the PLM Cup
The Paul Lammermeier Memorial Cup is a football series between St. Xavier in Cincinnati and Saint Ignatius in Cleveland, both schools where Paul taught and had a profound impact on students’ understanding of giving back. The series began in 2023, and is spearheaded by a committee of Paul’s former students and colleagues with goals to preserve Paul’s legacy, transform lives through acts of service, and create a collaborative endeavor for the common good. This year, St. Xavier hosts St. Ignatius in Cincinnati, in what is sure to be an exciting game. The event will recognize and pay tribute to the legacy left by Paul Lammermeier at both schools. The winning team will get to add their school’s name to the trophy and house it for the next year.
