Jorge Champac
(16 years old) – came in December, 2006.  He was born in Lima and placed in the same orphanage as the older boys by his mother who, as a single working mother, could not financially afford to raise him plus her other children (a phenomenon very common here).  Jorge will enter his fourth year of high school (2008) equivalent of a high school sophomore. He is bright but still has not revealed his true potential.  He loves to play computer games and soccer.  He has also started to study English in an institute.
