Francisco Cabrera
(19 years old) – came in February, 2004. Francisco is from the rural area near Huaraz in the Province of Ancash, northeast of Lima. He ran away from home nine years ago because of family abuse, and wound up in Lima, at the same orphanage as some of the other boys. He overcame his academic shortcomings and finished four years in a private high school and graduated last December. He is a hard worker. He enrolled in a technical school to become a systems technician in 2008, but it did not work out. He spent the last part of the year with his blood family in Ancash, reacquainting himself with his family. However, he decided that he wanted to further his education and returned to us at the end of 2008. He just began a four year program in IPAE, a business-oriented institute. |
